Holy Rosary Church Alangar, on the occasion of Youth Year organised 'Yuva - Sparsh' on Aug 18, 2019 for the youth of the parish. The entire day began with Holy Eucharistic Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joachim Fernandes, Director, SCC Mangalore Diocese and Parish Priest Rev. Fr Walter D'Souza with the participation of all Youths of Alangar, their Parents and Parishioners.

Soon after the mass, Program began by honoring Holy Bible with a procession led by Vice-President Reevan Sequeira and taken over by Reemal Sequeira (Designation). Later a stage program was held with dignitaries Rev. Fr. Joachim Fernandes, Rev. Fr. Walter D'Souza - Parish Priest & Director ICYM Alangar Unit, Ivan Pinto - Animator ICYM Alangar Unit, Jovita Nisha Miranda - Animator YCS, Reevan Sequeira - Vice President ICYM Alangar Unit, Elvita D'Souza - Secretary ICYM Alangar Unit and Siya D'Souza - YCS President Alangar Unit.

Fr. Joachim Fernandes delivered an interactive talk on Small Christian Community (SCC) and today's Youth.

The rest of the day was spent in various activities initiated by Master of Ceremony Elroy Peirera, Alangar and then ontinued by ICYM Mangalore Diocese Immediate Past President Jason, Shirthday along with his team which included Moodbidri Representative Ancita Cordel, ICYM Mangalore Diocese Past Lady Vice-President Lavita, Deneary President Roydon Paladka, Deneary Sports Secretary Neville Vamadapav.

Whole Program was mastered by Elroy Peirera, Alangar.
