Independence day celebration at Alangar. All the faithful gathered in large numbers in the church to pray for mother India and to celebrate the feast of Assumption. Soon after the Mass all faithful together with the school children and staff celebrated 73rd Independence day. Retired army soldier Mr sayyed Yusuf was the chief guest who gave a strong call to join army to serve the Nation. Preethal of 7std explained the importance of the celebration. Lilly D'souza staff of Kannada medium school welcomed, Hezel Miranda of English medium school proposed vote of thanks, Venilda Martis staff English medium school compered the celebration.
