Laudato si (green Sunday) was celebrated in Alangar on 30.06.2019 with meaningful liturgy and after the Holy Mass saplings were planted in the church sorroundings with the leadership of ICYM and Catholic Sabha. During the homily why to celebrate green Sunday was explained. Planting saplings, harvesting & saving water, keeping sorroundings neat & clean and shunning the use of plastic bags & reducing plastic use is the right way to love & to take care of the nature. Therefore Every family must strive towards this. To carry out this mission every family took the responsibility of planting at least one sapling in their sorroundings this week and keeping it clean. Arround 500 saplings were distributed to the families.
