Monthi fest celebrated with solemnity. Fr. Louis Vas was the main celebrant. Fr. Basil Vas, Parish Priest preached the homily focusing on the Christ centered families. Before mass there was flower offering to the Mother Mary and blessing of the corns in front of the church. The procession was cancelled due to rain.

All the alter boys wore the new dress which looked very ceremonial. After the mass all the 8 gurkars brought a corn each which was then put in the payasam and distributed to all the people as the symbol of one family spirit in the parish. All were presented with a sugar cane. The ICYM and Divine Mercy prayer group helped in all the arrangements.
