With gratitude to God , the parish priest and parishioners along with the people  of god celebrated the oneness and unity of the parish as they joyously thanked God for the new parish house   and school building.  Most Rev. Dr.  Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop of Mangalore Blessed and Inaugurated the New Parish House and School Building . 15 Priests  and more than 1000 people participated in this venture of love. The bishop presided over the thanksgiving Eucharist .He preached about the need and benefits of thanksgiving. Bishop prayed for the donors especially during the mass. The melodies choir led the congregational singing. There was a short felicitation programme that followed the mass. Mr Abhaychandra Jain the honorable minister for the youth and fisheries was the chief guest. Vicar Vara Fr. Austin Peres , Fr. Basil Vas the parish priest,  Mr. Iswar Bhat the head of the neighboring temple , Mr. Mohd. Ali Abbas , vice president Jerald Lobo, secretary of PPC Santhosh Rodriguez, were also present on the dais.

The bishop presided over the programme. All the donors were felicitated. The bishop and the guest speakers appreciated the hard, self less service of the parish priest Fr. Basil Vas and cooperation of the people was really liked by all. There was sumptuous meal for all.
