Aug. 17: Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, laid foundation stone for the new presbytery at 11.00 am on 17th August 2012. Mr Abhaya Chandra, MLA., Fr Basil Vas, the parish priest, V. Rev. Fr Austin Peres the Vicar Vara, Asst. Parish Priest Fr Prakash, several guest priests and the Vice President, Secretary of the Parish were present. In his homily Bishop preached on family values. “In this modern society people are losing meaning in family life and in togetherness. Family is the basic security of a man. If family foundation is shaken there is no other way one can live as a normal human person. Our real test is how we live in society when we have good family values, good education, good name and fame, and wealth” he said. "In family, elders should imbibe spiritual faith and then pass it on to their children while giving them good guidance," he added.

The novenas to Infant Jesus are held at the pilgrimage centre on every Friday, three times i.e., 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and confessions  at 10 a.m. meals are served for the devotees soon after 11 o’clock novena. Adoration, mass and novena are held at each of these timings.

More than thousand devotees gathered for the holy mass at mid day followed by  meal was arranged for all devotees as well as school children.
