Sep. 4: Under the patronage of Mr. John D'silva tenth standard students who were top scorers in the S.S.L.C examination securing a distinction were felicitated by the regional council of the Catholic Sabha which comprises of Karkala, Moodbidri and Belthangady Varados.

The function was presided over by Mr. Valerian Sequeira, President Catholic Sabha, Moodbidri Pranthya. The inaugration of the felicitation ceremony was done by Fr. Basil Vas, Parish priest, Alangar church. Fr. Richard Coelho, Administrator, Fr. Mullers Medical College Hospital, Kankanady was the chief guest. Mr. P. K. Thomas, member, Town Municipality, moodbidri and Mr. John D'Silva, Chairman, John D'Silva Foundation, Mumbai were the Guest of Honour.
